Dr I-Ju Chen is Lecturer in Law at Exeter Law School and LLM Programme Director for International Commercial Law. In 2026-2027, she is Co-Investigator of an ESRC funded project to investigate economic security dimensions in UK trade agreements with its partners in the Indo-Pacific. She widely published in WTO law, fisheries governance, sustainable development, and the Asia-Pacific economic integration. She completed her PhD in Law at the University of Birmingham and LLM at University College London. Dr Chen has held visiting fellowships at Doshisha University, Singapore Management University, and Durham University, and previously practised banking, insurance, and commercial law.
