Markus Wagner is Professor of Law at the University of Wollongong. He joined the School of Law in 2018 from Warwick Law School, and has previously worked at the University of Miami.
He is the immediate past Executive Vice-President of the Society of International Economic Law (SIEL), has advised international organizations and has presented at numerous academic and professional conferences. He has held visiting professor positions at the Universidad Externado de Colombia in Bogota, the Max Planck Institute for Comparative Public Law and Public International Law in Heidelberg and the law faculties at the University of New South Wales in Sydney, the University of Leipzig, the University of Hamburg and the Fundaçao Getulio Vargas in São Paulo.
