Robert’s research focuses on international trade and investment policy with a special interest in international regulatory cooperation. Prior to joining the LSE, he was an official at the Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) in Paris, worked as consultant inter alia for the European Institutions, and the German government. He has been a visiting professor at Princeton University, where he remains a non-resident fellow at the Liechtenstein Institute, and Science Po as well as a Max Weber Fellow at the European University Institute (EUI) in Florence.
